Our goal is to establish an emergency medical fund for BARK dogs that are in need of extensive vet care that cannot be handled by our spay/neuter clinic. Often times, we have dogs that need additional care up to and including x-rays, ultrasounds, specialty tests, specialist opinions, or complicated surgeries that can truly only be done at an alternate vet's office or specialty center. Having the funds (or a portion of them) on hand to begin with will allow us to obtain necessary treatment much more quickly and efficiently and without having to start a specific fundraiser after the fact. Blue, pictured, needed an amputation and care after being hit by a car (his care was covered by a previous fundraiser and he was adopted by one of our volunteers). All donations to this fund will be set aside specifically for this explicit purpose and will be used as needed. Donations to BARK are always tax-deductible because we are a 501(c)(3) organization. (For your purposes, BARK's EID is 90-0195675; a tax receipt will be provided automatically after your donation).
