Books and Basketball
Dear Family and Friends,
As many of you may already know, I am involved in a traveling competitive basketball team. The TAMPA BAY HEAT is a top 501(c) (3) club of 7th & 9th grade boys that have shown a desire to continue playing basketball outside of their middle school teams.
This year will be an important year for the TAMPA BAY HEAT as we are a start-up team with tremendous talent to do great things in the classroom and on the court.
We will be traveling to 4-7 tournaments throughout the state and hopefully Nationals in Dallas, TX. We estimate the cost to be $10,000 for the season not including Nationals.
In order to fund the program for the 2012 season, we need sponsorships to cover the difference between registration fees collected and budgeted costs; our expenses include tournament registration fees, hotels, transportation, training, facility practice fees, uniforms, equipment, YBOA, AAU, and USSSA organizational fees and insurance.
I am asking for your help this year by giving a donation to the TAMPA BAY HEAT CLUB. We are working very hard to be not only the best players we can, but to also stay focused on the making Honor Roll at school.
I hope I can count on you for a donation of $25.00 or more. However, please note that any donation amount is always welcomed.
Without the support of parents, family, friends, fundraisers, and businesses, some players might be excluded from participating. I look forward to whatever support you can provide. I thank you for your time and consideration.

Our Academics Performance:
Tutoring Program:
With your support, we plan to continue providing tutoring services to all student-athletes to prepare them for the rigorous curriculums at the collegiate level.
Players receive 2 ½ hours of tutoring twice a week before practice
Players will be studying from advanced level curriculums
PSAT, SAT & ACT preparation
Players Inducted into the 2012-NJHS (National Junior Honors Society)
Players Inducted into 2012-FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America)
