My name is Axel Balsa Dansey. I am the sole teacher and director of a small Montessori project in a rural area in Uruguay. 

We have built with our own hands a school for ages 3 to 12 that will offer children the opportunity of doing the Montessori Method. The method is virtually nonexistent in Uruguay. The classroom, bathrooms, and equipment are in place already. I have taken 2 online courses at the North American Montessori Center (NAMC) which took about a year each. Now I need to complete the course for ages 9-12 which costs 3000 USD.

We need your contribution to pay for the course and complete this aspect of the project. Children are already coming to the school and with some of them, we are completing the 6-9 curriculum so I must star this course as soon as possible.

We hope this will not only help the children attending this school but help promote the Montessori method in Uruguay, be a training center for teachers interested in the method and serve as a source of inspiration for other people wanting to take action and improve education where they live.
