Spring is here, and with the nicer weather, people are spending more time outdoors. 

Unfortunately for us - this means we are starting to have issues with neighbor kids teasing our dogs through the fence again.  We also had a neighbor move in behind us with a very aggressive Labrador that’s constantly trying to fight with our dogs through the fence.  While our dogs are never out in the yard unattended, it only takes seconds for something terrible to happen, and we don’t kids or dogs injured!  We have tried so many things over the years, and have come to the conclusion that building a solid fence is going to be the best way to ensure everyone’s safety and well-being.   BUT WE NEED HELP!  

Here at SNPR our focus is on helping dogs with major medical, behavioral, or physical problems.  Sometimes this means we have dogs here we are working with that may not be very friendly towards kids, or that may react negatively to the aggressive dog behind us.  Often we have dogs who have been abused that will react negatively to this kind of stimulation, and we don’t want any risk of an incident happening. 

WE REALLY NEED HELP!   If we are going to continue our mission to help the poodles most in need of help, we really need to put up a solid fence here at SNPR headquarters to prevent these kids and aggressive dogs from knowing when the dogs are even outside!  If they can’t see them, they won’t tease them, and things will be much more peaceful for everyone.  This will allow us to continue safely working with dogs that need some extra help! 

We have had several fencing companies give us quotes, but they’re all around $10,000 due to the size of our yard.   We have looked into options to attach to the current fence, but really we need a secondary fence for everyone’s safety!  Every option we have tried has been destroyed fairly quickly.   A secondary solid fence will be place a few inches from the current fence, giving an additional level of security and safety, as there will then be two fences to separate our dogs from neighbors properties.  Please help us reach this goal!!!!
