Candidate for Englewood Board of Education

Dear Fellow Englewood Residents,

For the past six years, it has been a privilege and an honor to serve our community. During that time, I have had the opportunity to work alongside dedicated educators, administrators, parents, and community members who all share one common goal—providing the very best education for the children of Englewood.

I am proud graduate of the Englewood Public School District, and I am equally proud to serve as a Master Board Member, certified by the New Jersey School Boards Association. I believe that continuing to learn and grow as a board member allows me to better serve our students and our community.

Our district has faced some extraordinary challenges. We navigated a global pandemic, worked through difficult financial issues, and overcame a significant cyberattack. While those challenges tested our district, they also demonstrated the resilience of our students, our staff, and our community.

Throughout every challenge and every success, my commitment has never changed. I have always believed that every decision should begin with one simple question:

"Is this in the best interest of our children?"

That principle has guided every vote I've cast and every decision I've made.

While we've made meaningful progress, our work is far from finished. We must continue to focus on improving student achievement, supporting our teachers and staff, maintaining fiscal responsibility, expanding opportunities for every child, and ensuring our schools remain safe, welcoming, and accountable to the community we serve.

I am running for re-election because I believe experience matters. Strong leadership matters. Collaboration matters. Most importantly, putting children first matters.

I want to continue listening to our families, working with my fellow board members, and making thoughtful decisions that prepare every child for success—both inside and outside the classroom.  I respectfully ask for your support and your vote on Election Day.
