Igniting Scientific Curiosity in Young Minds: A Global
Animation Project

positive science content to brighten our feeds and inspire curiosity.

Our Journey
We are a passionate team who have produced a number of funny educational science animations, in partnership with WiTcast, a renowned Thai science podcast. We believe that fostering a love of science in children is very important, particularly in an age where misinformation is so prevalent on the internet, and we would love the opportunity to adapt our series into English for a global audience.
Our project has already achieved a significant milestone: as of April
2024, we've successfully completed 25 episodes with initial funding
from the Thai Media Fund, covering a wide range of topics from
animals and global warming to galaxies and psychology. You

However, it's difficult for us to secure local funding for
English adaptation because our global target audience doesn't match
local funders' priorities. This is where you come in! To
ensure this vital project doesn't come to a premature end and to truly
make a lasting impact, we need to break language barriers and reach a
global audience.
Your support is crucial to keep this project alive and thriving. It will enable us to:
- Translate and dub existing episodes into English
- Enhance both the design and visual quality
- Bring our zany science stories to international viewers
- Continue producing educational animations beyond the initial 25 episodes

Our Team
WiTcast: Thailand's first science podcast since 2012, founded by Tanthai Prasertkul, Thailand’s Top Science Communicator Award in 2023.
Lucky Planet: Award-winning animation creator (SIGGRAPH USA winner,
Annecy International Animation Festival nominee)
Our Thailand based team has worked together for a long time
doing projects like this and is able to produce a full episode on a
small budget, at a cost substantially three times lower than most
animation studios.
Peer Review Production
In the spirit of scientific peer review, we're creating an exclusive group for supporters who contribute $30 or more. This group will gain insider access to our production process through Discord and a private Facebook group, which allows you to view our scripts and designs, offer feedback, interact with the director, and contribute to shaping each episode, ensuring our animations are crafted for the public good.
Timeline
Thanks to our preparation, production can start immediately! The first episode will be ready by September, with new episodes following every other week. If we don't reach our funding goal, we'll still use all the contributions to produce as many episodes as possible. if we exceed our target, we'll create additional episodes beyond our initial plan.
