run/roll/walk/exercise and day of solidarity amplifying the
voices of our comrades behind bars, lifting them up in their
struggles, and maintaining material support.
Political prisoners are in need of support, now more than ever! The conditions that these freedom fighters are subjected to and endure are abysmal. Health issues risen from rampant medical neglect and maltreatment and we need to step up our efforts to support our comrades.
If you can't join us on the day, you can participate in a number of other ways:

While we host this run in Los Angeles, we also hope folks can participate in exercising however they can, while acknowledging their solidarity and connection with Political Prisoners inside the walls who historically participate in Running Down the Walls.
Join us for Running Down the Walls – September 17th from 10am - 1pm PST. Please join us at Elysian Park Fields, Bishop Canyon(At the end of Park Road, near the park benches. Look for signs).
All funds raised will go to the ABCF Warchest, The Warchest program was created in November of 1994. Its purpose is to send monthly financial support to Political Prisoners and Prisoners of War (PP/POWs) who have been receiving insufficient, little, or no financial support during their imprisonment. Since its inception, the Warchest has raised over $200,000 with all the money going directly to those behind the prison walls.
