Tabitha Brown, an 11 year old from Bromley in Kent, is a passionate and talented cheerleader. Tabby started cheering when she was just 7 and she loves the sport more than chocolate.
Tabitha has blossomed into a very strong and capable athlete and after team wide tryouts at Easter, earned herself a coveted place on the LIME CRUSH Junior Level 2 travel team. The results were announced on her 11th birthday, in May 2017. Below is the video of her opening what she thought was a birthday card, but was actually her acceptance into the team!
Tabby would like to help her cheer squad from Intensity Cheer Extreme (ICE), fundraise for their competition taking place next May 2018, at the Varsity All-Star Cheer Summit, in Florida.
Having formed in May, Lime Crush worked extremely hard over 6 weeks and placed 1st against 15 teams in the Jamfest Liverpool Cheer competition, winning the UK’s first and only fully sponsored bid to compete at The 2018 Varsity Summit.
The Varsity ‘Summit’ Allstar Cheer Competition takes place every May in Walt Disney’s ESPN stadium in Florida and is an amazing opportunity for the athletes of this team. The level of Allstar Cheerleading in the USA is phenomenal and for Tabitha to be representing the UK as part of ICE, proves the level to which these athletes have reached.
As well as getting to compete on the USA national stage themselves, the competition is also broadcast around the world with FloCheer. Attending this prestigious event is a chance to train alongside, watch and compete against the amazing teams that Tabby has aspired to over the years.
Allstar Cheerleading is one of the UK’s fastest growing sports, now with provisional Olympic recognition and status, from the International Olympic Committee, it involves tumbling, stunting, jumps and dance, all packed into a two-and-a-half-minute routine. It is very fast paced and exciting with a performance element.
