I am going to explain to you in detail why we need to repair our 4×4 and why it is that we need your help, So please bare with me and read to the end.
Together with my wife Julia we founded a non profit horse rescue in 2012.
I am handycaped and can't work a normal job any more and have there for decided to dedicate the rest of my life to the cause.
Since 2012 we have had the honour to save quit a fue horse form neglect, abandonment and abuse or slaughter.
I cud go on but I think you get the picture.
All that was made possible using our trusty old 4x4 that pull's our horse traitor through all terrain.
This is why we need a running vehicle

We finance all this living as cheap as possible using our only income, my sons and my invalidity pension .
We also collect funds in our local cumunety with fundraising cans local shops have next to the cash out.
Sometimes i do some fundraising at our local
post office .
We have various plan's to make the world a better place but that is an other story.
Putting all the funds together we get barely through and if there is a problem, well we are in trouble.
This is one of those situations where we are stuck and need to ask for help.
People ask me if you don't have enough money, "why do you do it?"
Well that is because my dream is to make the world a better place for all. I always say there is no improvement without sacrifice. We all have to chip in and do our part in order to achieve a common goal, because if we don't get together and start pulling on one rope, there is no one else that will.
This is our sacrifice.
Coming back to our 4x4. Yes it would be easier to just get a new one ore a good second hand one.
That is out of our reach and I think that it would be to much to ask of anybody to donate one to us.
So we have come up with the following plan.
- Search the internet for a cheap and suitable scrap car that cud serve as parts doner.
- Try to raise the money necessary to purchase the parts car, transport it hear and strip it for all usable parts.
- Repair 4x4 using second-hand parts.
- If there are any parts left over, save them for any other repairs that may occur in the future.
The first step we have already successfully achieved. We have found a suitable parts car on the local classifieds Lebonciong.fr
That presents us with a basis for calculating approximately how much money we would need for this project.
- Car 1200€, maybe a little less depending on negotiation. +
- Transporting the car to us , approximately 600€ That includes renting a vehicle with trailer to bring the car to us.
- 200€ for bits and piece.
I own some mechanical skills, that should be enough to do the job. I also plan to use the combined knowledge of YouTube. However I am open to any suggestions and would welcome anybody that wants to come to us and help.
Let me surmise. 1200€ for doner car + 600€ transport + 200€ bit's and pieces =
Grand total 2000€
That is the amount of money we would need realise this project and put our 4x4 back in action.
I have tried to be as precise a
s possible for you in order to explain to you what it is, we would like to do and what it is it takes to realise this project.
