Working with the NC Voters For Animal Welfare to lobby for SB 930 supporting Commercial Breeder Legislation, we have successfully passed through the NC House. Your donations will help lobby this Bill through the Senate to be passed as Law next session!
Laila was a survior of breeder neglect, saved from being starved and euthanized at 10 weeks old, with an infected bite wound that caused her to lose her leg. Laila is a survivor. This past year has brought her several near death experiences with allergies and uncontrolled epilepsy. Her life is a daily struggle contributed to breeder neglect and she fights daily to bring awareness to the need for Commercial Breeder Legislation in NC. Representing the NC Voters for Animal Welfare (NCVAW), Laila attends events all over NC for Puppy Mill Awareness. NCVAW lobbying has progressed SB930 for Commercial Breeder Legislation halfway to the goal of becoming a law in first 2013 Legislative Session. Money talks, and we spoke loud to get the Bill passed through the NC House. The last leg of our goal will be to pass through the NC Senate in the next legislative session. Laila won't stop fighting, for Puppy Mill Victims in NC, and we need your in our corner to win!

150 supporters donating $10 will meet this goal, it only takes a little help from a lot of caring people to make laws change!
