Remember Teo? The community stray cat that stole my heart—and also probably fathered half the neighborhood? Well, now I’m on a mission to spay and neuter his entire extended family. Finding Teo hit by a car and suffering in my driveway was both heartbreaking and expensive, so I'm jumping in and tackling the problem at the source. The leading cause of death for these cats are illness and being struck by vehicles. Help me prevent more from suffering this fate.

Enter Team Teo 2.0! I’ve partnered with Pet Project Rescue (a nonprofit organization) and Camden Pet Hospital (hosting hospital) to tackle overpopulation head-on in our community cats within our neighborhoods. Our first TNR (Trap-Neuter-Release) event is set for Valentine’s Day—because nothing says love like a ‘Neuter Your Ex’ campaign to help prevent thousands more unhoused cats! A dream team of volunteer veterinarians, techs, and vet students will be sharpening their skills while keeping the community stray cat population in check. This program provides vet students with great experience learning the ins and outs of TNR and meaningful community work, something they might not otherwise encounter during their veterinary training.
