Hi everyone! Thank you for stopping by to see what is going on. Hopefully you will consider making a pledge to help support our independent Women's Professional Wrestling organization. We are running against the clock, as we only have 30 days from this launch to complete our mission. Thanks for taking the time to check this out and help.

The Dangerous Women of Wrestling (DWOW) needs help, and is seeking your help and support.
DWOW must upgrade some gear, purchase hard drives, needs long term storage solutions, freelance video editors, and office help.
Make a pledge of $50 to help contribute to the cause (you will only be charged upon DWOW reaching our goal)
We only have 30 days to meet our fundraising goal of $25,000
1. If the goal is met at any time during the 30 days, everyone's pledge will be fulfilled (charged) at that juncture
2. Your downloadable videos "gifts" will be immediately available upon on pledge funding (the quicker we reach our goal, the faster you get to download all the titles below)
3. If the fundraising goal is not met, no one will be charged ($0)

Here's our back story, and how we got to where we are today. Long story, very short. Well, we will try...

The Dangerous Women of Wrestling (D.W.O.W.) started in September of 1999 under the name, Gorgeous Ladies of Oil Wrestling (G.L.O.O.W.). Live shows popped up in Philadelphia, Allentown, Reading, New Jersey, and Delaware.

In 2000, the company began to transform its show, and was renamed the Gorgeous Ladies of Outrageous Wrestling (G.L.O.O.W.), where the show undertook a metamorphous as "pro" wrestling was added to the original show concept. The company was originally formed to run and host women's wrestling events for nightclubs, bars, halls, and arenas. The girls found success running live shows in the upper northeast part of the United States, specifically Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, and Connecticut, and started to amassed a loyal following of fans at shows, and worldwide online.

In 2001, G.L.O.O.W. took a huge step, and debuted on a local Philadelphia TV station, WGTW Channel 48, late night (mornings) Sunday at 1 am, for a 13 episode season. The girls shocked everyone as rating points started to register during that time slot, and surprised station executives.

In 2002, the GLOOW girls returned to WGTW with a new and improved time slot, Wednesday's at midnight. The girls were sandwiched into the nightly midnight airings of men's wrestling shows -- and outperformed them all! This includes consistently beating the WWE repeat airings on Saturday afternoons, as well as the other half-dozen men's wrestling company's, as well as scoring the highest rating for a pro wrestling TV show ever on WGTW, beating ECW's highest rated airings.

In 2003, G.L.O.O.W. was forced to change it's name again, this time to the Dangerous Women of Wrestling (D.W.OW.). The original G.L.O.W. was planning to start live events, and began working on a scripted TV show, years later landing a Netflix deal. Also in that year, the D.W.O.W. operating partners officially split over a conflict of interest, as one left for Women's Extreme Wrestling (W.E.W.), while the other stayed trying to keep D.W.O. W. going.

At that point, it was tough going for D.W.OW., as a good portion of talent was lured away to exclusively work W.E.W. shows only, while the sole partner now having to do even more that ever to try to keep the company afloat, before being submerged underwater completely.

For many years, the video library compiled from all the past live events, many which were never produced, never made it to market, sat in plastic tubs in a storage unit. There were a few shows that were released on VHS and DVD, but majority of the collection never has been seen, --until now.

Years passed, and on July 29, 2017, by popular demand of fans emailing, posting on message boards, and social media, wanting to see and purchase all the GLOOW / DWOW videos. the sole owner of D.W.O.W. decided to launch a new video on demand download platform at DWOWVOD.COM

The plan was to start organizing the GLOOW / DWOW video library to release the video archives. Eventually, master tapes would start to be digitized, and cataloged. Editing and production soon started, and unseen titles started to debut on DWOWVOD.COM --finally to the fans surprise and delight.

However, there are at least 125 live events in our video archives, most with multi-angles, plus additional appearances, promos, vignettes, etc... yet to be produced and released. It's a massive task for one person to undertake, especially as a part time hobby.

We want to deliver and give our fans worldwide what they want. Everyone wants to see more of the Dangerous Women of Wrestling videos, talent, matches, and shows. However, we need some help from our supporters and fans. Trust us, the furthest thing we would ever want to do is ask anyone for help. HOWEVER, we understand we need some help to deliver on the scale our fans desire. We must upgrade some gear. We need long-term cloud video storage solutions. We need some help with video editing and restoring events. We need some office help. If we can get the much needed help and support from our fans, and reach our fundraising goal, then we will be able to pick up the pace, and continue, and increase our production output --and who knows where the Dangerous Women of Wrestling will go to next!
