The 7/20 memorial foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization composed of family of victims, survivors, and others directly impacted by the tragedy of July 20th, 2012. We have found that we are able to honor our loved ones and all of the courageous survivors and heroes of that night, by reaching out to others who are experiencing trauma associated with the kind of tragedy that is becoming all too familiar. Katie and Caleb Medley are 2 of those courageous survivors on a mission to pay it forward to Las Vegas through Project HOPE Baskets, a heartfelt project organized by their sister-in law, Megan Medley.
Words of encouragement and the items listed below are being sought for first-responders, victim advocates and hospital staff in Las Vegas, to remind them that they are not alone. We are also seeking monetary donations so that the Medley's and other Aurora families and survivors, who know first-hand how a gesture of support can give you strength, can make the journey to Las Vegas on October 25th. They plan on delivering the baskets and sharing their hearts with First Responders and Victim Advocates on Thursday and Friday, and hope to connect with families and survivors on Saturday and Sunday.
They will also be delivering to the Las Vegas PD the "Aurora Stands with Vegas" banner containing hundreds of messages of love, hope and support for everyone whose lives where forever changed on 10/01/17. The City of Aurora, It's Community, Police Department, Fire Rescue, EMT's, Hospital Staff, Victim's Advocates and survivors of the Aurora theater shooting want everyone to know that we are here for you and hold you in our hearts. Together, with these hundreds of signatures from the caring hearts of people all over Colorado, we are stronger
