For 50 years I've devoted my life to a better world. From starting a chamber music school (Apple Hill) as a college kid to finding lead in drinking water (at WaterTest Corp.) and telling Congress how to save kids from leaded water poisoning, to the nation's first prepaid phone card (for Western Union) which broke the big telco's strangle-hold on world call costs, to an international Internet-video company listed on the NASDAQ, I've been blessed with great missions.  Bringing life-giving, health-giving iodine to daily life in America and worldwide is our mission. 

ABOUT ME:

I'm Gene Rosov of Miami, Florida. I founded the Apple HIll music school; WaterTest Corporation, Innovative Telecom, TVCP (NASDAQ), Pediatricians & Ob/Gyns insurance companies...and now, Io Products, Inc.

ABOUT OUR CAUSE:

It's simple: the production, packaging, sales and distribution of iodized toothpicks by every restaurant, doctor's office, foodservice supplier, gas station, convenience store and hospital kitchen.  The iodine in our patented SuperPick helps prevent still-births and cretinism, improves the micro-nutrient quality of mother's milk, spurs infant brain growth and development and childhood intelligence, regulates metabolism, prevents cavities and gum disease, and increases metabolic efficiency. It's NOT a wonderdrug: it's Nature's and God's way to help us achieve a great life, to the fullest of our generously granted potential. Every child, mother, citizen, worker and hospital patient deserves it.

ABOUT USE OF FUNDS:

Funds will be used for an initial production run by the world's top toothpick producer (we're going to send you a sample box, so you can test and see for yourself). Our first orders will cost us $50,000 in setup and production, and with boxes, labeling and transportation, we will spend $25,000 more to produce about 100,000 boxes (31 patented SuperPicks each). From the first, we will give generously: for every twelve we sell, we will give away one to domestic ob/gyn offices (for pregnant mothers) and another one to international health organizations (UNICEF, WHO, ICF, etc.).  

ABOUT GIFTS:

We need your help to do this. The initial $75,000 of funds will allow us to create supply chains, distribution relationships and create the sales/marketing programs to fuel further growth. We ask you to contribute: for every $12, we will send you one box (of 31 SuperPicks); for every $12 gift, we will give away two boxes for mothers and children.

ABOUT SHARING - WHAT YOU CAN DO:

We also need your help to share the mission: since the advent of low-sodium diets (our principal worldwide iodine intake is usually through iodized salt), an estimated 1 in 9 U.S. citizens are iodine-deficient, and many more mothers and infants don't get sufficient iodine for brain development and optimal health. Tell your friends, your doctors, your co-workers and your family.  Iodine is a worldwide problem that begins at home, at work, at the local physician/hospital level.

ABOUT "GOING PUBLIC":

Io Products, Inc., a Florida company, intends to become a publicly-held entity. I have personally run 3 public companies, and all have done some good in this benighted world. Iodine is the greatest mission of all, as it is so central to the health and  intellectual growth of all sentient beings, and especially human children and their mothers.

WHY US?

We know we can and must do this. No one else has addressed this issue effectively. ABOUT OTHER PRODUCTS:

We have a pipeline of products we're working on, and you'll also be the FIRST to know about them.  They range from iodized dental floss (a kind of sister-product to SuperPicks) to an amazing antiseptic (with iodine) that 3x more effective than any other on earth.  Our pipeline includes special iodine-based drops for pre-pregnancy and pregnancy; iodized liquid soap for radiant skin health; iodine-based toothpaste to end dental cavities forever; and a host of other products.
