This is the Computer Museum Foundation, a non-profit organization.

The purpose of our Foundation is to collect, preserve and make known to the public all the machines that have made the history of computing science.

The Museum is located in Camburzano (Biella), Italy, in an old textile mill of about 5000 sqm containing the largest collection of computers in Europe: about 10,000 pieces.

The Museum is currently under development and we need the help of anybody interested in our project. The textile mill had been abandoned for several years: we now have to rebuild, repair and renovate the old structures and systems.

We are starting this crowd funding in order to connect the electrical system of the Museum to the national grid. This project, which includes the purchase of a new medium-voltage transformer and connection operations by the national electrical company, requires the sum of 12,000 euros

Anybody willing to contribute will be remembered in a page on our website. Many thanks,

Alberto Rubinelli, president of the Computer Museum Foundation
