Many To One PTSD Support Foundation hasn't added a story.
Who We Are
Many To One (a registered Canadian chartiable organization - Registration no.: 825917503RR0001) is committed to creating an online directory of PTSD resources, thus providing a centralized base of information and educational tools. But we need your participation.
Many to One started as many charities do, with a small group of people who wanted to help. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder holds a special place in our hearts, as many of our friends and family members struggle with PTSD on a daily basis.
The team spent it's first years organizing fund raisers for other like minded PTSD charities (Wounded Warrior Canada, TEMA Conter Foundation, Canadian Fallen Firefighter Fund and the Toronto Military Family Resource Centre to name a few). Speaking at schools, attending national events, and hand making Paracord Bracelets as part of our PTSD awareness program.
The Problem We Need Your Help To Solve
Working along side these charities on the front lines brought home two stunning conclusions:
- There are many resources out there for people suffering from PTSD and their families, but finding a suitable program is extremely frustrating for someone dealing with PTSD.
- Charities are stuggling to get the word out about their programs, and some are losing funding because they can't fill seats.
The issue was clear. We needed to connect people to the help they were looking for.
Our Mission
Our mission is to build that connection. Your donation will help build the soultion, ptsdonline.org.
The site will gather information about PTSD resources form all across North America. Information in the database will be verified regularly by real people calling the numbers and talking to the program directors. This will ensure the programs are current and relevant.
The portal will offer charities a place where they can been seen and heard, and factilitate them in finding people to help. THIS WILL ENABLE THEM TO CONTINUE TO WORK and maximize the impact of their programs.
We will also offer online and blended preventative training options, for free, to any person or any organization that is in a high risk occupation.
The team is made up of caring individuals with a great collection of backgrounds and experience that will ensure the program is a success. Even with this great group of people, one more person is missing that can ensure we complete our mission.
That person is YOU.
We need your help to get the word out about our mission, and help us connect people in need to the help they deserve. Reach out. Donate. Volunteer.
Get involved and help us make the connection.
Project Stages
We have three main goals to support with this effort:
- Goal 1 – Online Database of PTSD programs and resources
- Goal 2 – Training and education module
- Goal 3 – Implementation of a bursary program to assist others in accessing programs that may be out of their reach financially.
This campaign is raising funds for Goal 1 to be complete by November 2015.
Use of Funds
The funds raised from this campaign will be used in the creation of
our PTSDOnline.org site, the database and the application that
connects the two. This website will house PTSD resources for our
military, first responders and anyone in a high risk occupation.
Funds will be used for:
- application development
- graphic design
- web hosting
- data security and redundancy
- web application consulting

We have just observed Purple Heart Day and we often associate Purple with characteristics such as valor, strength, courage and honor. It is the color of royalty and leaders throughout history. It is this strength of character to step up and speak out that makes a PTSD survivor unique and someone who deserves our support. There is a great deal of courage in speaking up about PTSD and acknowledging the need assistance. It has been demonstrated over and over again that those who battle PTSD do not hesitate to help others when called upon as they truly understand the struggles experienced each day. Our heroes, both local and global, should be revered as leaders in our communities.
