We’re running a great, family friendly event to help bridge this gap: a vibrant, lively Bowl-a-Thon! This exciting event will not only raise funds, but also provide a platform for the community to come together and rally around a shared cause – the well-being of kids in our community.  Show your kids what giving back looks like and why it's important, all while having a great time!

Transforming Funds into Impact

The funds raised from this Bowl-a-Thon will be directed entirely towards CityKidz and Be The Change In Your Own Backyard Foundation, two incredible organizations dedicated to empowering children from at-risk backgrounds. With your help, CityKidz can use the funds raised to organize a remarkable event that promises to bring joy, learning, and inspiration to young lives. Imagine the laughter, the skills learned, the friendships formed – all because you chose to contribute!

Attendee Event Policy

INTRODUCTION
Be The Change In Your Own Backyard Foundation (BTC) believes in supporting safe, legal, and welcoming events. This Attendee Event Policy outlines our expectations for participants' behaviors.

SCOPE
This Policy applies to all employees, volunteers, subcontractors, and independent contractors of the Foundation under the BTC umbrella, and their guests.

POLICY STATEMENT
It is important that participants remember they are a representation of the Foundation while at BTC events and should act accordingly. All participants are required to abide by ALL policies at BTC events. Events may offer alcoholic beverages; if you wish you to take part in this you are required to drink responsibly & behave responsibly.

CODE OF CONDUCT
BTC is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and professional environment for its employees, volunteers, subcontractors, independent contractors, sponsors, speakers and attendees. This policy sets out the attendee responsibilities for ensuring that all participants, volunteers and venue staff have a high-quality experience.
• Attendees should treat fellow attendees, volunteers, venue staff, clients & colleagues with respect and professionalism, and abide by our Foundation sexual harassment policy.
• Attendees should avoid the use of vulgar or profane language, as well as excessive loudness.
• Respect fellow attendees, volunteers, venue staff, clients & colleagues regardless of age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, body type, political affiliation, state of health or personal habits.
• Attendees should not spread gossip, rumors or engage in behavior that creates friction and threatens the well-being of other fellow attendees, volunteers, venue staff, clients & colleagues.
• Attendees who choose to partake in alcohol consumption while at a Foundation event must partake responsibly and control their consumption. We maintain the right to exercise a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON ALCOHOL OR SUBSTANCE ABUSE at BTC Events. Volunteers, subcontractors, and independent contractors of the Foundation under the BTC umbrella, and their guests who violate this policy may be barred from future company events and may face termination of their relationship with the company.

REVIEW OF THE POLICY
This Policy will be reviewed and may be amended from time to time based on the needs and experiences of the Foundation .
