A Solution Born in a Hallway

Hi, I’m Jonathan McEwen. The idea for Vaulta™ didn’t come from a boardroom, it fell into my lap while I was working at Illinois State University.

I overheard a conversation about the massive struggle international students face when trying to find housing. These students are brilliant and capable, yet they are often rejected simply because they don't have a local credit score. I remember thinking: "If they can't find housing at the university, then they can't go to school here? What if they could just bring their credit with them?" I got straight to work. Vaulta™ was born to ensure that no one is locked out of their future just because the system can't see their past.

The Fortress: 9 Layers of Protection

To make "portable identity" work, it has to be unhackable. I’ve built a badass security infrastructure to protect our users. Every document uploaded to Vaulta™ now passes through a proprietary 9-layer fraud detection pipeline before it ever touches a vault:

• Layer 01-03: Magic-Byte Verification, Malicious Content Scanning, and SHA-256 Cryptographic Fingerprinting.

• Layer 04-06: EXIF/Metadata Analysis, PDF Structural Validation, and Cross-User Duplicate Detection.

• Layer 07-09: AI Authenticity Analysis, Automated Account Suspension for fraud, and Real-time Incident Logging.

Where We Are & Where We’re Going

We have the platform. We have the branding. We have the security. Now, we are ready to scale. We are specifically targeting Canadian housing institutions and Mexican infrastructure to start. These are places where the need for secure, sovereign identity is at an all-time high.
