Baruque is a beautiful Chow Chow mix who has been trying so hard to survive the dangerous and chaotic streets of Brazil, as a stray.
His poor body bears many scars, his fur is matted and dirty. Yet it conceals the harsh treatment he has endured.
One of his eyes is infested with maggots and infection.
There is also strange concerning twist in his back legs. We assume Baruque has been run over.
Baruque's plight was drawn to the attention of our rescue friends in Brazil.
They already have 63 rescues in their care but seeing this poor boy, so down and defeated, they have stepped in.
They are begging for donations for him and are desperately looking for a foster to help with his physical and emotional healing after he has been treated.

We just know Baruque is a beautiful boy under the years of neglect. We are told he is friendly and sweet and so very grateful for every kind word and caress.
