The Line 3 pipeline threatens to cut across sacred lakes, untouched wetlands, and treaty-protected wild rice beds, carrying 915,000 barrels of dirty tar sands crude oil per day and unlocking emissions equivalent to building 50 new coal power plants .
Day after day, Indigenous water protectors and allies on Anishinaabe lands in so-called Minnesota have been putting their bodies on the line, locking down to excavators and blocking roads, to halt construction of the destructive project. In the last two months alone, more than 130 people have been arrested resisting Line 3.
Stop the Money Pipeline is raising money to support Water Protectors on the frontlines of the fight to stop this destructive, rights-violating pipeline.
At the request of the Indigenous-led resistance group, Giniw Collective, 100% of the funds from this Fundrazr campaign will be donated to the Center for Protest Law's Line 3 work, representing the hundreds of people who have been arrested resisting the pipeline
