Foothill Family Shelter is raising money for our LEAP & LEARN programs and we need your help. We have found our residents are far more successful when we provide additional learning opportunities. Our goal is to provide skills they can apply today, tomorrow and in the future! 

Our LEAP program (Literacy, Enrichment, Activities, Programs) is designed for our kiddos. Throughout the year we offer age-appropriate events that help develop their social and emotional well-being. We also expose our children to new experiences and opportunities! Our partnership with School on Wheels Tutoring and ieReads ensure their academic needs are also supported. Events include: Thanksgiving Feast, Make and Take a Pumpkin, holiday shopping sprees, Grant A Wish, birthday celebrations, Christmas in July, Quakes Family Baseball Night,children's therapy and other child friendly activities.

Our LEARN program (Life-Skills, Education, Attitude, Resources, Nutrition) is focused on helping our adult residents acquire critical skills to help them succeed. Our Client Service Team works collaboratively with professionals from within our community to develop a series of workshops with diverse information. These gatherings allow our clients to not only develop their skills, but to foster healthy relationships with fellow shelter residents and network with many of our speakers. We partner with our business community and many local colleges.
