On Monday April 13th, Special Olympics at UGA will be putting on our annual Home runs for Hometown Rivals baseball game. This is a great event in which our Special Olympics athletes from rival schools in Athens-Clarke County come together with UGA athletes to play a baseball game on UGA’s Foley Field. Last year we were able to raise about $4000 prior to the event, allowing us to donate $3500 to Clarke County Special Olympics at the end of the year. We think we can do better this year!
