Hospice of Hilo hasn't added a story.

Since 1986, mom lived with -- and fought against -- a series of brain tumors. It took two years to recover from crainiomity #1, but with her remaining hair dyed pink, she had a badass Halloween costume, scar and all! She got a nursing degree with #3 and after #5, she took up scuba and moved to Hawaii. She was building a home for a blind child's family in Thailand with #6.

With #7, at long last came cancer. That's when Hospice of Hilo and their Transitions program came to our rescue.

On May 3rd, I am walking for my mom in the Celebration of Life to benefit the Hospice of Hilo near the home she built on Hawaii's Big Island. Join me in supporting the angels that for more than a year took special care of Pam Lamont.

We all deserve end-of-life care, love and dignity like we received from Hospice of Hilo. Join me, and help me raise $5,000 for these angels.
