Our goal in crowdfunding for this project is to ensure a stipend for each of our cast and crew members, a space to rehearse, and many other production elements—such as costumes, props, and set pieces. Crowdfunding will more specifically go towards paying: eight actors, director, producer, stage manager, costume designer, propmaster, set designer, lighting designer, sound designer, and SFX makeup artist.

Play Synopsis:
Long-distance lovers, Ellie and Sylvia, are savoring their last moments together in Sylvia’s new apartment in Dallas, TX, before Ellie gets on a plane back to Chicago. Just as the car to the airport pulls up, Sylvia musters the courage to ask Ellie to move in with her. Just as the two are about to…celebrate, they find themselves launched into the zombie apocalypse. The couple seek shelter in Sylvia's parents' basement, but instead, are forced to "enjoy" a passive aggressive barbeque with her family. As they all break bread, we gain insight into the mindsets of conservative elders as well as into the power of queer resistance.
