As we close 2025, Brazil enters a decisive electoral year. The 2026 elections will unfold amid intense polarization, coordinated disinformation, and mounting risks to civic space. The WBO exists for moments like this: to connect Brazilian civil society with policymakers, media, and multilateral bodies abroad—and to ensure the facts, the evidence, and the voices that defend democracy are heard.
This year, with your support, we strengthened our transnational network and deepened our advocacy with the U.S. Congress, the Inter-American System, universities, and independent media. In 2026, we will scale that impact with a focused, high-leverage plan.
