On April 3rd, a kind-hearted woman spotted this sweet girl lying
motionless on the side of the highway. She feared the worst, but
when she stopped to check, the dog was alive. Without hesitation,
she rushed her to a vet where she spent a critical night.
The next day, we were contacted for help. We arranged for her
transfer to our vet, and on April 5th, she arrived and underwent
X-rays and full bloodwork. The results revealed a shattered pelvis.
Faith underwent two major surgeries—on April 7th and again on
April 11th. She’s been under close care ever since, needing strict
confinement and constant monitoring.
We’ve named her Faith, because despite everything, she never
gave up. And now, the best news: she’s starting to walk again!
Soon, Faith will be strong enough to come to the shelter, and we
can’t wait to welcome her. She’s a fighter, and her journey is just beginning.
