Help Me Turn My Caribbean Dream Into a Business
My name is Kisha Sealey, and I’m a Caribbean-born chef, entrepreneur, and food-service professional with a dream of bringing the flavors, culture, and hospitality I grew up with to my new community in Willis, Texas.
I’m the founder of Best of Both Worlds, a Caribbean-inspired food business that combines bold Caribbean flavors with American favorites. My ultimate goal is to grow this vision from catering, pop-ups, and special events into a successful brick-and-mortar restaurant.
This dream is deeply personal to me. I’m starting with very little financially, but with years of experience, passion, determination, and a proven love for creating food that brings people together.
My culinary journey has already given me moments I’m incredibly proud of. I was named the King of Wings Overall Winner, taking 1st Place in competition. I also competed in the Virgin Islands' Best Patty competition and won Best Seafood Patty. Those experiences showed me that my talent and passion for food can become something much bigger.
Now, I’m asking for help turning that talent into a business.
Your contribution will help me take the first steps toward launching Best of Both Worlds, including commercial kitchen access and equipment, food and supplies, packaging, permits, insurance, marketing, and initial operating expenses.
