Our Story
The Story of New Covenant of Inclusion Church
New Covenant of Inclusion Church began with a simple but deeply important conviction: everyone deserves a spiritual home.
The church was born from seeing a need that could no longer be ignored. Too many people have walked away from churches not because they stopped believing in God, but because they were made to believe there was no place for them within the Church.
Some have been rejected because of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Others have felt unwelcome because of homelessness, poverty, disability, their past, their family situation, or simply because their lives did not fit neatly into someone else's expectations of what a Christian was supposed to look like.
We believed there had to be another way.
We began dreaming about a church where the doors would be open wide enough for everyone—a church where people would not have to hide pieces of themselves before walking through the door.
From that dream, New Covenant of Inclusion Church was born.
A Church Without Walls
From the beginning, our vision has been bigger than a building.
Church is not brick, stained glass, pews, or a steeple. The Church is people.
Jesus carried His ministry into homes, streets, hillsides, communities, and places where ordinary people lived their everyday lives. Following that example, we believe ministry can happen anywhere people gather in love, faith, and fellowship.
That is why New Covenant of Inclusion Church is being built as a church without walls—a community capable of reaching people wherever they are.
Whether someone joins us online, attends a Bible study, participates in fellowship, reaches out for prayer, or eventually gathers with us in person, our desire is the same:
Come as you are. There is room for you here.
Creating an Inclusive Spiritual Home
Our mission today is to create an inclusive spiritual home where people can encounter God, grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and discover that they are worthy of being part of a Christian community.
We want to be a church for the person who loves Jesus but is afraid to walk through another church door.
We want to be a church for the LGBTQ+ person who has been told that Christianity has no place for them.
We want to be a church for the person experiencing homelessness who wonders whether anyone will notice them.
We want to be a church for the person carrying a complicated past.
We want to be a church for the veteran, the struggling family, the lonely person, the questioning person, the lifelong Christian, and the person opening a Bible for the first time.
We don't expect people to have everything figured out before they come.
Neither did the people Jesus called.
Jesus welcomed people, ate with people others rejected, touched people society considered untouchable, and continually crossed the boundaries human beings created between one another.
That example shapes the kind of church we are working to become.
Where We Are Today
Our story is still at the beginning.
New Covenant of Inclusion Church is a small, growing congregation and ministry in its startup season. We do not have decades of history behind us, a massive congregation, or an enormous budget.
What we have is a calling, a mission, and a vision for what this church can become.
We are laying the foundation now—developing our ministries, establishing leadership and policies, building our online presence, creating opportunities for worship and Bible study, reaching into our community, and inviting others to help build this ministry alongside us.
There will be challenges.
There will be things we learn along the way.
There will probably even be moments when we have to change our plans and try something different.
That's part of planting a church.
But through every season, one principle will remain at the center of New Covenant of Inclusion Church:
People matter.
The Story Is Just Beginning
Someday, we hope to look back and see how far God has brought this ministry.
We hope to tell stories of people who rediscovered their faith after believing they could never enter a church again.
We hope to tell stories of people who found community after years of loneliness.
We hope to tell stories of families strengthened, friendships formed, prayers answered, lives changed, and people discovering a relationship with Christ.
But those chapters have not all been written yet.
We are writing them now.
Every person who worships with us, volunteers, prays for this ministry, gives financially, participates in Bible study, shares our message, or simply tells another person, "I know a church where you would be welcome," becomes part of that story.
New Covenant of Inclusion Church did not begin because the world needed another church building.
It began because people needed a place to belong.
And as we grow, our prayer is that we will never lose sight of why we started.
A place where faith can grow.
A place where questions can be asked.
A place where wounds can begin to heal.
A place where differences do not disqualify someone from community.
A place where nobody has to stand outside wondering whether they are welcome.
This is New Covenant of Inclusion Church.
A church without walls.
A community built on
love.
An inclusive spiritual home.
And our story is only beginning.
