By offering a welcoming space for artistic expression, skill development, and community engagement, AMAS helps bridge the gap between the rich cultural heritage of New Orleans and its future. 

Over the past two years, we’ve made remarkable strides in refurbishing our historic building, reviving the legendary jazz club, and establishing a lively community center.

However, to fully realize our vision of supporting and empowering the Algiers community, we still have many key goals to achieve. We want to hold more classes, art installations and concerts for our community.
