The 2022 NSBMX resurfacing project is crazy ambitious! Maybe a little too ambitious?! BUT definitely needed...those corners were getting a bit hairy!
This project aims to include resurfacing Corner 1, a NEW profile & resurfacing of Corner 3 and a modest rebuild of a couple of the straights...IT'S GOING TO BE AWESOME!
The VeloSolutions crew will be onsite to work their magic. Thanks to the incredible support of LaFarge Canada and BA Blacktop, we have just over 100 TONS of asphalt! AND the excavator was generously donated by Triex Contracting. Truly, without this support there would be no project.
Several local companies have all pitched in by reducing fees for the use of their equipment - Dalton Trucking, Dynamic Rentals and VeloSolutions have all supported this project but...
We still need a little more help...
We NEED to raise $6000 to cover unexpected additional construction equipment costs...Trucking, roadbase, and labour have come in over budget.
Without these additional funds, our ability to operate will still be in jeopardy.
