In the last couple of years we have all faced many changes, unfortunately the fact that innocent lives are being targeted has not changed. Abortion continues to be the greatest human rights violations of our time, as the right to life is stripped from nearly 100,000 pre-born children in Canada every year. These children are being ripped apart limb by limb and they don’t even have the ability to speak for themselves.
In addition to the 300 lives lost daily, this tragedy affects many more. 600 parents, as well as countless grandparents, siblings, and friends are impacted every day by the life and death decision of abortion.
Through CCBR’s Canada-wide projects, people are being challenged to re-think their position on abortion. Minds are changing and lives are being saved! One of those life-changing conversations happened this summer when our team talked with a young woman whose sister was planning to have an abortion. Although she didn’t approve of abortion, she felt that it wasn’t her place to tell her sister what to do. We challenged her to consider her niece or nephew who needed her to speak up for them and provided her with information and resources to help her do so. Just a few weeks ago, she contacted us to share the happy news that her beautiful baby niece had been born and is safe and healthy!
Pre-born children need us to be having more conversations like these! More people need to see the reality of what abortion does; more people need to speak up on behalf of the pre-born! Today lives are on the line, today little bodies are being crushed, today we can take a stand!
