Contribute To Our Purpose
Our programs help individuals and families break the cycle of poverty. With the growing number of people financially impacted by COVID-19, we hope to connect our community members with access to training and support to help them achieve the dignity of work.
On Giving Tuesday Now, we're asking for your kind donation that will make an immediate impact in breaking the spirit of poverty through the dignity of work.
Your contribution will allow us to provide unrestricted financial relief fund, which we call Employee Gives, to members in our community that otherwise would hold themselves back from moving their lives forward. We use these funds to support the following:
- Housing support - helping individuals and families stay safe and secure
- Access to childcare - not all families are eligible for government-funded programs - we can help
- Technology equipment & services - providing the devices needed to stay connected in today's world
Stories of Impact
With gratitude and grace, our employees are gifted in the HEARTwork of helping others, guiding meaningful moments of accomplishments, and bettering the quality of life by providing wrap-around support beyond program participation.
Here are a few stories on how our employees contribute to the impact of helping our customers break the spirit of poverty through the dignity of work.
"A program participant was offered a full-time position and was scheduled to start under the condition that he obtained his food handler permit prior to the first shift. He did not have the funds that would allow him to obtain his permit and could not request support from the government-funded resource program; it would have caused him to miss his first shift and possibly the employment opportunity. Our team was able to utilize the non-restrictive Employee Gives funds to immediately pay for the certification and allow him to start his first shift that same evening. The participant is still happily employed." -David Morton, Career Path Services employee in Spokane, WA | ![]() |

"Our team was able to use the Employee Gives fund to provide the financial backing needed to pay for a deposit required to enroll our participant's son in an after school program. The deposit could not be covered by the government-funded program, our unrestricted funds were the only option. Providing this impactful financial support has allowed the program participant to open up availability to her new employer and be the great hire every business hopes to onboard." - Marissa Turner, Career Path Services employee in Spokane, WA |
"A participant in our unpaid Community Works program was unable to transition a new workforce program du to not having child care. She had unpaid debt and therefore ineligible for child care subsidies. We utilized the Employee Gives funds to pay off her child care debt, which allowed her to enroll her children in a state-funded child care program. With our ability to help her with the child care challenges, she committed to the new workforce program that guided her job development and earning family-supporting wages." - Lacee Bangs, Career Path Services employee in Spokane, WA | ![]() |
