The Dog4U, Inc. Medical Recovery and Treatment Building has been constructed thanks volunteer labor, private donations and grants awarded by the American Humane Association and the PetCo Foundation. The treatment room is complete and the interior of eight heated and air conditioned kennels is finished as well. The last step is completing the eight outdoor runs that will be attached allowing the dogs indoor/outdoor access. Now two years in the making, this building is almost done and we need your help to finish the last step. Thanks to Flood Construction, we have the opportunity to finish this project with donated labor over the Holiday week. All we need to do is raise the funds for materials which will run $2,200 (the other construction companies gave us estimates of $9,000 and more for labor and materials so we have an amazing chance here).

Once finished, we will be eligible for new and different grants and it will lead to other opportunities. Currently we are housing dogs needing post operative care in the building but they must be leash walked multiple times a day. The dogs would be far more comfortable with the option to go in and out at will, leash walking up to eight dogs is also extremely time consuming for our volunteers that could be doing other life saving tasks.
