Hancock County Search Dogs, Inc, our volunteer K9 search and rescue unit, was recently approved for our 501c3 not for profit status! All contributions are now TAX DEDUCTIBLE! Our tax ID number, 46-2181359, is now recognized by the IRS!
- What this means for us? We can continue to assist individuals in our community in helping law enforcement to locate lost or missing persons with our K9 partners! Our K9's will no longer have to go without necessities like food, medical, or go without the training, certifications, and equipment that we have had to forgo in the past, due to financial restraints. We will financially be able to cover costs of travel expenses to get our teams to locations and start searching in a timely manner!
