Skalli Family Sadaqah Jariyah Project – Ghana
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
We invite you to support a lasting Sadaqah Jariyah project in Ghana on behalf of the Skalli Family , bringing together worship, clean water, Qur’anic education, and essential community facilities.
This integrated community project will include a 120 m² mosque, an artesian water well, a two-classroom Qur’an school with an office, a wudu area, and shared latrine facilities .
Allah says:
“Whatever good you put forward for yourselves, you will find it with Allah.”

120 m² Mosque — $27,600
A new 120-square-meter mosque will provide the community with a safe and dignified place for the five daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Ramadan activities, Qur’an learning, and community gatherings.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.”
Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim
Allah also says:
“The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, establish prayer, and give zakah.”

Artesian Water Well
A deep artesian water well will provide a sustainable source of clean water for the mosque, school, and surrounding community.
The well will support drinking water needs, daily household use, and water for the mosque’s wudu facilities, while helping reduce the burden on families who may otherwise travel long distances to access safe water.
Artesian Water Well Cost: $4600
The Prophet ﷺ was asked:
“Which charity is best?” He replied, “Providing water.”
Sunan Ibn Majah
Allah says:
“And We made from water every living thing.”
Qur’an 21:30
Every person who drinks, makes wudu, or benefits from this water can become part of the continuing reward of this Sadaqah Jariyah, Insha’Allah.
Qur’an School and Learning Center
The project will also establish a dedicated Qur’an school and learning space consisting of:

Two classrooms — 54 m² each

One office — 18 m²

Total school area: approximately 126 m²
The classrooms will provide children with a safe and structured environment to learn the Qur’an, Islamic studies, and foundational education.
The office will support teachers, school administration, recordkeeping, and the coordination of educational activities.
The mosque and school will also share dedicated latrine facilities , helping create a practical and sustainable community complex.
School Cost: $31,500
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”

“My Lord, increase me in knowledge.”

And the Prophet ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”

This project brings together two of those lasting legacies: ongoing charity and beneficial knowledge .
A Lasting Legacy for the Skalli Family
Through this project, the Skalli Family will help establish:
A house of Allah for worship.
A sustainable source of clean water.
A place where children can learn the Qur’an and gain
beneficial knowledge.
Essential wudu and sanitation facilities for the community.
Every prayer performed, every drop of water used, every child taught, and every verse of Qur’an learned can continue to bring reward, Insha’Allah.
Allah says:
“The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed which grows seven ears, and in every ear is a hundred grains.”
