What would you do if you found out you had Stage 4 colon cancer? Get treated, yes, but would you start thinking about living your dream, if you could?
Just about over a year ago Jennifer Inzana was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer that spread to her liver. After finding this out she decided that she wanted to pursue her dream to open a low cost mobile clinic to help people that can't afford the high cost of a vet or animal hospital.
Jennifer is the owner of a non-profit called Feral Advocates and Cat Trappers, established in 2014. She has been a member of the South Shore Humane Society for 5 years, and became president in 2020. For 15 years, Jennifer has trapped feral cats, gotten them spayed or neutered, and then re-homed them if they were friendly, or released them back outside if they were not.

Since being diagnosed, I have been working my same full time job while receiving treatment and still being president of a humane society. I have still been actively helping people with their pets and helping to get feral cats get fixed and medical attention. My whole life is helping animals, especially cats. Now I'm looking to help even more by donating my life savings to purchasing this low cost mobile clinic … but my contribution alone won't be enough.
A brand new mobile spay/neuter clinic costs over $350,000. We have been lucky enough to find a used mobile clinic that is in perfect condition which costs significantly less, at $200,000, but we are also going to need money for supplies to get the mobile clinic up and running. We help hundreds of cats and dogs a year right now on the South Shore, and we want to make it thousands. Can you help?
