The New York Dragons AAU Basketball program seeks to give student athletes an opportunity to reach their athletic potential through individual instruction and high level competition, while teaching the values of hard work and discipline.

The New York Dragons is a subdivision of the Sports Education and Arts Foundation, a 5013C that focuses on mentor-ship, cultural development, and exposing inner city kids to the fine arts. We currently have over 150 young men and woman from the greater New York area that participate on our AAU and developmental basketball teams. The program achieved great success last AAU season winning 13 championships amongst our 3 elite teams. As we look to build on last spring/summers' success, our goal is to extend our schedule nationally to give the student-athletes a chance to see other parts of the country and experience a higher level of competition. This will be a great reward for the commitment and sacrifice that has been made by our current group of parents and players.

While our goals and dreams are big, we face the same challenge as many youth organizations in being limited in our resources. Many of our families do not have the means to cover the cost associated with participation. We do not want to deprive any of our young people the opportunity to be part of a great experience because of a lack of finances. We have been working diligently in trying to fund-raise to make sure that our goals are met and that "NO CHILD GETS LEFT BEHIND" Support is needed to help cover equipment, travel and tournament fees. We as a program are dedicated to doing whatever it takes to help our kids, and we ask you to join us in supporting our fund-raising efforts.
