Project Goal
Patron Pet Center is seeking support to install a modern solid-fuel heating system and radiators throughout the facility, ensuring reliable, energy-efficient heating for rescued animals year-round.
The new system will provide stable indoor temperatures even during power outages and energy disruptions, which remain a reality in Ukraine.
Why It Is Needed
Patron Pet Center cares for approximately 300 rescued animals, many evacuated from frontline and war-affected areas. For vulnerable animals—including puppies, kittens, seniors, and those recovering from illness or surgery—a warm environment is essential for survival and recovery.
Rising energy costs and the risk of electricity interruptions make an independent heating system critical for maintaining safe conditions throughout the winter season.
What We Will Do
The project will include:
- installation of a modern industrial solid-fuel boiler;
- a complete radiator heating system throughout the building;
- separate heating circuits for animal care, veterinary, quarantine, and visitor areas;
- temperature control and safety systems;
- backup circulation equipment and fire protection measures.
Impact
This project will provide a warm, safe, and resilient environment for hundreds of rescued animals every year. It will protect the most vulnerable animals during the winter months, support veterinary care and recovery, and ensure that the center can continue operating even during energy emergencies.
