Ingrid’s Haven Fundraiser.

We don’t usually post things like this… but we’re at the point where we have to be honest.

Ingrid’s Haven is running low on funds.

Since Ingrid’s stroke, we’ve only managed to run one fundraiser and it brought in a couple of thousand. That barely touched the sides. Regular donations have been really quiet, adoptions have slowed right down, and it costs over $5,000 every single month just to keep the doors open and the cats fed, treated and safe + around $6,000-8,000 for vet work.

Right now, we have about 3 months left.

Almost every cat that comes into our care is unwell in some way. Because we take from pounds, we don’t get the easy ones. We get the ones no one else can take. Cat flu, heavy worm burdens, gut issues, pregnant mums, older cats, critical cases… and the kittens just don’t stop.

We did just have something amazing happen — our fundraiser for the auto water systems in the outdoor pens absolutely smashed it and it’s now in the works. That support meant the world to us.

But that was for infrastructure.

Right now we’re struggling with the basics.

Cats still need food.

They need litter.

Flea and worm treatments.

Medications.

Ongoing vet care.

Our winter warmer fundraiser is still coming, but we need help to get us there.

This place has been running for decades. It’s saved thousands of lives and continues to take the cats that have nowhere else to go.
