Cloudbridge Nature Reserve has been dedicating its efforts to research, conservation, education, and reforestation of over 255 hectares of former pastureland in the cloud forest of the Talamanca Mountain range since 2002.

One of our long-term projects is the camera trap, whose data has been used in published papers and graduate students’ thesis (Ramírez-Fernández et., al. 2024 and Bodson 2024), as well as educational showcasing of the biodiversity in the reserve.

However, our current cameras are aging, and to continue our vital work we urgently need to invest in new equipment. That’s why Cloudbridge Nature Reserve (https://www.cloudbridge.org/) and The Wild Cat Imaging Project (https://www.wildcatimagingproject.com/) have teamed up to improve and expand this project.
