To celebrate Giving Tuesday, help us raise $3,000 to go towards Animal Rescue New Orleans's (ARNO) veterinary care!

We started volunteering at ARNO dog walking on the weekends in 2016. Currently, Amanda is one of their employees, and we've fostered over 70 animals! There is always a new animal coming through our doors, and we love being able to spend time with all sorts of creatures. Our favorite types are the "misfits"– animals missing a limb or eye. Everyone at ARNO knows these are Amanda's favorite kind– that's how we ended up fostering 3 cats who all had no eyes at all!

But the biggest gift they've given us is our beautiful daughter, Robin. She was only supposed to be a foster, but she quickly became an inseparable part of our family. Robin also enjoys the amount of foster animals we care for, especially kittens! Her eyes and ears perk up at the sound of tiny meows, and she'll use her motherly love to groom, play, and snuggle up with them.

To encourage donations, we've taken a pledge to try a sip of alcohol if we reach our goal. We're both infamous for being non-drinkers (we did toast with chocolate milk at our own wedding, after all) so this reward will surely be worthwhile. Videos of the sip will be texted or emailed to you!
