Everyone deserves access to continuous, culturally affirming, and trauma-informed support during their birth. 

This year, the Nesting Doula Collective supported 50 Black, Indigenous, and people of colour (BIPOC)  by providing them and their families with birth and postpartum doula support. We trained 40 BIPOC Doulas to create a community of practice across Turtle Island. 

This was made possible with support from donations made by members of our community who believe in the transformative power of resurgence in birthwork for Black, Indigenous, and communities of colour. 

It takes a village and we need your support again! We are raising funds for 50 BIPOC Births in 2022.

The Nesting Doula Collective is a grassroots collective of Black, Indigenous, and people of colour who are committed to offering culturally affirming, anti-oppressive, and empowering support to culturally diverse communities throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We do this pro-bono or on a pay-what-you-can scale because money should not be an additional barrier for racialized people to access the maternal health care they need.
