Help us empower young people to become upstanders and end bullying.
Humanity Rising and Stand for the Silent have teamed up to empower students to put an end to bullying.
Kirk Smalley of Stand for the Silent lost his 11-year old son after bullying led him to suicide. Kirk has shared his story with over 1.5 million students across the country. By sharing his story so vulnerably, Kirk is changing and even saving countless young lives.
"Kirk's assembly changed my entire high school experience and that of my friends."
-Lawendy Gilmore, Student at George Westinghouse College Prep

Humanity Rising encourages and shares student-led solutions to create cultures of kindness and respect.
”I don’t want what happened to me to happen to another kid.” - Devin Moore, Humanity Rising Ambassador and Founder of #RaceToSpeakUp.
After being racially cyber-bullied, Devin started #RacetoSpeakUp, and is now working with New York legislators to make anti-bullying curriculum mandatory in local schools. Devin also co-created Humanity Rising’s #BehindtheScreens to teach students about cyberbullying and provide them with resources to stop it.
