Blount County Humane Society hasn't added a story.

Mister Kitty Wampus was left, all alone, in a shoebox at our rescue on Saturday morning. Because he was unable to stand upright, with partial use of only one of his hind legs, he was immediately seen by an emergency veterinarian at Midland Animal Hospital in Maryville.

Unfortunately, all diagnostic tests have led us to dead-ends so far. Blood tests haven't shown anything, no bones are broken, and that leaves us with a likely neurological condition. But we need the funds to run more pricey tests and be able to proceed with treatment for little Mr. Kitty Wampus.

Blount County Humane Society is a No-Kill, 501(c)3 non-profit organization. No animal with a treatable condition is euthanized, and we believe Mr. Kitty Wampus has enough quality of life to give him a chance at recovery. The easiest solution would be to have him put down - but we don't take the easy way out. His life deserves a chance!
