Hooves, Hope and Love (hooveshopelove.org) is a non-profit farm animal sanctuary in Vista, CA with a big motto: Breaking down the "just food" barriers between mankind and farm animals. Olivia, one of our resident pigs, has taken our motto to heart, and has literally broken down the fence between the sanctuary's property and our neighbor's property, along with the gates to the other resident animals' pens and the foundation of the patio. That's what happens when you take in a piglet that was suppose to be a pot-belly pig, but turned out to be a run-away from a hog farm!  Our land just wasn't ready for our 15 pound piglet to grow to almost 300 pounds in 18 months.  And, she is still not done growing!  

Situated on sloping land in Southern Calfiornia, Hooves, Hope and Love is the forever home to llamas, chickens, ducks, a goat, sheep, a horse, and of course, pigs, who began their lives abandoned, abused or with no other place to call home.  We are dedicated to caring for them for the rest of their lives and celebrating the bond between people and farm animals.  It is a mission we could not fulfill without your help!
