This is a story of Alto, the protagonist, that just enters the town of the Resistance, a group of the Horned against the Human Kingdom. Facing hardships to find any clues about the said group, Alto meets some certain girls who might help him to proceed.

Strict swordwoman, cheerful assassin, and calm magician. You, as Alto, seem to know each of them well overtime. But ... do you really know the real her?

W.A.T.C.H. ~Truth Beyond Time~ is a fantasy adventure visual novel in a world where the Human race dominate the other races. Even in cruel ways, which eventually lead to the raise of the Horned race's Resistance. Join the force, while experiencing an intricate romance story. Make your own choices, and see how you can interact with each girls in a more personalized way.

We will be able to make the game FULLY VOICED, not just at important choice and CGs, But for ENTIRE game. Also we will add additional outfit to the characters.

$9000 – Animations

We can hire an animator to ANIMATE CHARACTERS, CG, ETC. All the character will be animated using DragonBones (similar to live2D). We also can animate CGs so that the CGs will be animated similar to Wallpaper Engine animation. LipSync also added, so that character mouth will move as they speak. Positional voice also added, so that character voice will be heard relative to the character position on the screen. Also main menu art will be upgraded so that it will be animated and also dynamic, means that it will change as you finished more route.

$12000 and more – More Contents, Mobile Port, Console Port, and more..

We can add more contents to the game, like:

• Mobile Port, The experimental android port will be adjusted for mobile use like, changing UI to make more comfortable for touchscreen input.

• Console Port, we can negotiate to publisher to port this game to Console, like Nintendo Switch. We already have some communication with them, so with this much fund, we hope that we can bring this game to console.

• More storyline and Cameo Appearance of characters that are central to Mandala Universe. This VN is just a part of Mandala Universe, we already have some more title coming up after this one. Not just VN but there are other genre to. Please look forward to it!

• W.A.T.C.H. ~Truth Beyond Time~ Heart Version. A version that targeted for Adult audience (17+) it will contain New Chapters and also more risque version of CGs and lines. Basically this version is eroge.

W.A.T.C.H. ~Truth Beyond Time~ is still in development and will be available with planned release date a year after this project funded. Gameplay features will be added as we develop with request from you, the community. But as a reference here is some features that we plan for the release version:

• Several hours of gameplay.

• Beautiful Art from various talented Artists.

• Multiple Routes and Multiple Endings, including 1 Secret Ending.

• Beautiful Character Sprite with various poses and facial expressions.

• Professional Voice Acting to voice some of the line (e.g. at CG Scene or After Choices or Important Dialogs)

• Beautifully animated GUI.

• Multi-platform (Windows, Linux, and Mac)

• Fully Animated Sprites (Stretch Goal)

• Fully Animated CGs (Stretch Goal)

• Lip-synced Mouth Animation (Stretch Goal)

• Positional Character Voice (Stretch Goal)

• Fully voiced game (Stretch Goal)

• Animated and Dynamic Main Menu that will change as you clear more routes (Stretch Goal)

• Console and Mobile port. (Stretch Goal)

We plan on releasing this game 1 year after this project is fully funded, without the Stretch Goal. Stretch Goals are additional features that easy to incorporate into the game so once it’s fulfilled we can just easily add that into the game.

On First and Second Month we will focus on completing the script, also creating poses for character sprite. Then after that we will focus on making backgrounds, CGs, and other visual aspect of the game. At the same time we will also work with the composer to make OST and songs for the game. Once it done we will hire the VA to voice the characters.

Other than that we will also release Extended Demo that use the final assets of the game, and also add additional 1 chapter to the story. This version also include bug fixing (if any) also some popular gameplay features that requested by the community. This version will be updated frequently so that community can test it, if you encounter any bugs you can submit bug report, so that we can fix that. Also feature will be frequently added to the game. We will make a vote whether a feature will be implemented or not, this vote will be posted as a Polling Tweet.

Hello this is the director, Edi speaking. Listed above are all the artists that was really helpful in making the DEMO version of the game that already you can play for free in our itch.io page. But they are only hired to finish that DEMO. So, when the project is fully funded, than I can hire them again to work on the full game. With that in mind the assets that use in the DEMO is not final we can hire another artist if you feel some of them is not satisfying for majority of you. So if you haven’t fill the Feedback please fill that because that will determine whether we will rehire the same artist or looking for new one. This feedback response will be open for 2 months or until this project is Funded. We hope to deliver the best Visual Novel Gameplay experience as best as possible for you :)

Risks and challenges 

As a programmer, I have been programming game since 2016, and have been hired by several other game studios. There are more than 20 games that I program, already released and published by several studios and publishers (including big publisher like Big Fish, Alawar, and Game House). And then I have been developing my own game in my free time since 2019 under the name AUREA FUNSoft (studio that I founded since my college day). And have made several title under that studio name. But those games are only in Preview Stage, or Small Project (if you interested please check them out at our itch.io page or our Google Play Store page) because of small or non existence budget.

So this is the first time we pitch our idea to community. In hope that we can solve our budget problem by outsourcing the funding to the community (this is what is called crowdfunding). We hope that this project can be released fully with your help :)

As you read my programmer journey that I write before, I am a professional programmer and I’m very confidence that I can finish creating this game as long as I have assets that I need.

So, the biggest potential risk is that having team member leaving early or before assets are finished. This will make the project being slowed down until replacement is found.
