Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, yet too many women still face barriers to timely and accessible screening. Discomfort, fear, limited access to providers, geographic challenges, health disparities, and gaps in screening infrastructure can all contribute to women being screened too late—or not at all.
PapEasy was created to help change that.
PapEasy is an innovative, women-centered medical device platform being developed to modernize cervical cancer screening. Our goal is to provide a more accessible and patient-centered approach while supporting multiple screening modalities within a comprehensive platform.
Unlike conventional approaches centered around a traditional speculum examination, PapEasy is being designed as a speculum-free screening platform with the potential to support HPV sampling, cervical cytology/Pap pathways, and visual assessment capabilities.
Our vision extends beyond the device itself. We want PapEasy to help expand screening opportunities through traditional healthcare settings as well as community and mobile-health programs—particularly in areas where women face significant barriers to preventive care.
Why We Are Raising $250,000
PapEasy has progressed from an idea into a patented medical technology with a working prototype and substantial development already completed.
We are now raising $250,000 to help advance the next critical stage of the journey, including:
- Advancing manufacturing and market readiness
- Supporting regulatory and commercialization activities
- Producing devices for appropriate validation and pilot activities
- Developing and implementing pilot programs with healthcare and community partners
- Supporting clinical, usability, workflow and real-world evidence generation as appropriate
