R&D eLynceus is a startup, a research and development company. Our first project is a web portal, elynceus.com, which purpose is to help to resolve some social issues:
1. Speech Recognition for automatic calls to emergency services and
close persons when you cannot call.
If a user is facing an
emergency situation and cannot reach his/her phone to call, he/she can
use elynceus.com to trigger automatic calls to emergency services and
registered close persons using speech recognition. The user just need
to speak a registered keyword and all SMS and calls will be triggered
automatically.
During the automatic emergency call and messages,
essential information to locate and assist the user are automatically
transmitted: user's name, phone number and current location
automatically evaluated by the program.
2. Easier localization of kidnapped and missing persons.
To make
it easier to locate kidnapped and missing persons, elynceus.com can
provide GPS data, last persons met and locations and also
conversations transcripts.
Those data can also be used for
criminal investigations.
The user only needs to run elynceus.com
automatic facial identification.
3. Quick ID check in criminal databases using facial
identification.
Wanted persons usually do not keep their real
names. So trying to identify them by names does not really make
sense!
This is why elynceus.com provides the option to search in
criminal databases using facial identification.
To hire a new
employee or simply for a new relationship in theirs lives, users can
perform a quick ID check in main criminal databases using facial
identification by downloading a picture or by taking a
screenshot!

Our web application is platform independent and can be run on any
device which can connect to the internet: computers and mobile
devices.
It works in the browser and does not require any
download or installation. So it has very low resource usage on the
client device.
