Greetings, I'm Del Shawn Hayes a native and resident for nearly 40 years and presently a proud virtual business owner in my hometown of Covington, Kentucky.
I am seeking office as Covington City Commissioner and I need your acts of kindness. All funding raised will be used for yard signs, door hangers, mailers, and needed campaign materials.
Why would I like to become your next city commissioner? I believe there is still love and unity in the community through family, communication, education, and teamwork to make Covington the next thriving city in the state of Kentucky.
- Bridging the cap of neighborhoods and connecting Covington neighbors to create a thriving city.
- Create a resource center for our youth such as a Community Center.
- Create a center for our senior such as a Senior Center.
- Provide healthy and affordable food in our local community.
- Create jobs that are above minimum wage.
- Investigate the city budget.
- Offer new and creative ideas to solve housing for Homeless.
- Identify housing for a Women Shelter and Men Shelter.
- Collaborate with the local police to close the gap of fear to create a safe environment for the police and citizens of Covington.
