Horlivka Institute for Foreign Languages, Ukraine hasn't added a story.
My name is Mark James and I am an Assistant Professor of English at Molloy College in Rockville Centre, New York. I am also a former Fulbright Scholar to Ukraine, where I taught American Studies and American Literature at Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages in Horlivka.
The city of Horlivka is a small mining city in an area called "the Donbas" in eastern Ukraine, which is currently occupied by Russian and pro-Russian separatists. Because of this occupation, the school has been divided into two: some of the faculty and administrators have chosen to stay in Horlivka and work in the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" or "DPR," but those who are loyal to Ukraine have been forced to relocate to nearby Artemivsk where they are starting again with nothing.
Therefore, Horlivka Institute of Foreign Languages in Artemivsk desperately needs any assistance we can provide. The city government of Artemivsk has provided a basic building, but because so much of the government's resources are going towards the war effort they need to raise funds for other necessities like chairs, desks, computers, other teaching supplies, and the rest on their own. And they especially need help with the dormitories for the students to live and study.
100% of the proceeds (minus fees for this website and PayPal) will go to the college. We are hoping to raise at least $5,000 in US currency by the beginning of the academic year, which starts September 1, 2015.

Chers amis!
